What did winter smell like when you were small? Maybe it was oranges in your stocking, a fresh-cut tree in the living room, or something warm baking in the kitchen. Scent has a way of carrying us right back to those moments.

This Small Business Saturday, come spend an afternoon with me exploring the aromas of citrus, spice, evergreen and wood, and blend a diffuser scent that brings that warmth into your own home.

What we’ll do together:

I’ll guide you through the properties of each essential oil and help you narrow your choices. A little education plus a dash of creativity, and voilà: a unique aromatic blend for your home or office. As you smell each oil, you’ll notice what it reminds you of, where you feel it in your body, and what it stirs up for you. Then you’ll choose the 2 or 3 that feel like yours.

What you’ll take home:

  • Your own blend in a 5 ml bottle, labeled with the name you give it.

  • A recipe card, so your blend is there whenever you want to make it again.

  • A little more knowledge about how scent can support you through the winter months.

A little about me:
I’m Susan, a Licensed Massage Therapist and sound therapist here in Kalamazoo. Aromatherapy is woven into the work I do with women navigating chronic pain, burnout and life’s transitions, and I love sharing it in a way that’s simple, hands-on and authentically you. This class is my invitation to slow down for an afternoon and create something that makes you smile and full of joy.

I’d love to have you join me.
